Migrationsverket needs to meet you in person to check documents, ask follow-up questions or carry out an identity check.
Summons are sent when information in the application needs to be verified against original documents or oral explanations.

- 1Confirm the appointment if the letter asks you to, or reschedule in good time if you cannot attend.

- 4Arrive on time at the correct office – the address is in the summons.

Yes, you have the right to bring a representative. If you need an interpreter – notify Migrationsverket in advance and they will arrange it free of charge.
