ماذا يحدث بعد قرار الجنسية؟
عند القبول تصبح سويديًا في يوم القرار. يمكنك بعدها التقديم لجواز سفر سويدي وبطاقة هوية. عند الرفض يمكن الاستئناف خلال ثلاثة أسابيع.
If you are granted citizenship
You receive a decision (certificate of Swedish citizenship) by post. Population registration is updated automatically. You can book an appointment with the police for a Swedish passport and national ID card. Many municipalities also invite new citizens to a citizenship ceremony.
If you are refused
The refusal decision can be appealed to the Migration Court within three weeks from when you received the decision. You can also choose to apply again later when you meet the requirements – for example after longer residence time or after debts are settled.
